Proudly featuring a weekend of semi-organized anarchy in the mountains. We have a fun festival in the works for the 2026 Downieville Classic. Check out 2025's events below.

THURSDAY
Morning:
8am-4:30pm Yuba Expeditions Trail shuttles, ride, swimming and enjoy Downieville
Afternoon:
5 - 10pm Volunteer/Industry Party
5pm - 8pm Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship Merch Booth open
8pm - 10pm Dance Party with DJ Coop Da Loop!
FRIDAY
Morning:
8am-4:30pm Trail shuttles, rides and swimming
Afternoon:
3-7pm Packet Pickup at Downieville School Gymnasium, SBTS Merch booth & Beverage Garden Open
6:00pm - Freehub presents A Mountain Bike Film Festival at the Yuba Theater
SATURDAY
Morning:
6 - 8am Packet Pickup at Sierra City Community Hall
8:30am Cross Country race start in Sierra City
10am Downieville Classic Expo and Marketplace
11:00am Racer food available and beverage garden flowing
11:30am - 4:00pm First come, first serve racer shuttles to Sierra City
Afternoon:
1:30 Cross Country race award ceremonies, and Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship drawing, and then...
~4:00pm Ron's House of Big Air River Jump
~6:30pm Log Pull World Championship Competition
Evening:
8:00-10pm Downieville dance party and live music by Joy & Madness
SUNDAY
